SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We want to help you tell your story. While the main interest of our editors is literary fiction and non-fiction, we will not discriminate based on genre or story length. At Found Press, our main goal is to publish quality writing. Period.
The following is a list of things to keep in mind before you send us your work:
- Please include your name, contact information, and the title of your story on the first page of your submission.
- Ideally, your story should be in the form of a double-spaced Word document or double-spaced PDF.
- Avoid fancy fonts, colours, and formatting.
- If you’d like, you may include information about yourself in the body of your email, or as an attachment.
If you want to keep our editors happy, please read this next part carefully:
Since we are a small press with limited manpower, we ask very politely and sincerely that you only send us one story at a time, with a limit of three stories per year. Over the next few years we hope to add to our team so that we can read through a higher volume of submissions, but for now one story at a time is what we are realistically able to handle.
We are not accepting hard-copy submissions.

If you send us a short story, we will respond to you. However, we cannot guarantee that we’ll be quick about it. As mentioned earlier, Found Press is a small company (seriously, we’re super small), so it may take us a month or two… or four… to get back to you. Please be patient. We haven’t forgotten about you.
